TEKS Resource System Scope and Sequence Tree for Forethought:
If your district is using TEKS Resource System as your Scope and Sequence you can request to have the YAG imported into Forethought so your teachers that are lesson planning will have full access to see what needs to be taught during each unit. To request this import use the link below. Please read the disclaimer before requesting this set up.
After submitting this form to Eduphoria!, the data analysis curriculum tree will be loaded into the district's Forethought. This new tree will REPLACE the current tree within Forethought. Any existing curriculum structure will be REMOVED. If the district has added any groups or standards in Forethought, those will be DELETED after this transition.
Any activities that had been created by district personnel and teachers will still remain but will need to be relinked to new standards. Historical lesson plans will still exist with standards.
The new tree contains standards (SE's) grouped together in units. No resources, lessons, or activities are included in this tree. It is simply the unit structure for the four core areas, grades K-8 and high school courses. If TRS has updated any of their scope and sequence since 2014, the district is responsible for updating any changes within their own site.
Teachers that had been using the Forethought lesson planner will have to RECONNECT their planners to the "new" courses to access the unit structure. Copying plans from the previous year will not work since the courses are technically not the same (in the database) even though they may have the same title.
